With the quarter-finals of the Copa Elite Six now being completed, we have the four confirmed teams that will be advancing to the Rainbow Six Mexico Major next month.

Stage 2 of the Copa Elite Six started on the 20th of July with ten teams from South America and Mexico. Every team would’ve wanted to secure a top 4 finish, as that would buy them a ticket to the upcoming August Major, which will be the first International LAN event since the Six Invitational 2021.

After four intense playdays, the teams that made it out of the group stages were Ninjas in Pyjamas, Team oNe eSports, FURIA Esports, Fenix Esports, Team Liquid, and Black Dragons e-Sports. These six teams advanced through to the playoffs, which features a single-elimination BO3 format, except for the grand-finals, which will be a best-of-five series.

Being the group leaders, NiP and Team oNe directly qualified for the semi-finals and consequently the Mexico Six Major, while the other 4 teams went head-to-head in the quarter-finals. Both FURIA and Team Liquid showed off their skills as they swiftly beat their opponents with a 2-0 scoreline and booked their spot in the next International R6 event.

NiP, oNe, FURA, and Team Liquid have also secured 225 SI points for the Global Table. But the 5th-8th placed teams will also get some crucial SI points for their effort.

So far, 11 teams have booked their spot in the 2021 August Six Major with the remaining 5 teams being decided over the next week.

The semi-finals and grand-finals of the Copa Elite Six will be streamed live on Rainbow6 Twitch Channel tonight. So make sure to tune in to catch all the exciting action.
