Riot has revealed the upcoming skin receiving a prestige edition, Soul Fighter Pyke.
The summer event is one of the exciting times for League of Legends. During that period, we get many new contents in the game. Some of them are new skins, new game modes, and some extra side modes.
Similarly, since the start of this year, Riot has been hyping up the summer 2023 event. They mentioned that it would be the biggest event we have seen in League of Legends recently. While Riot didn’t reveal much, some of the confirmed additions were a new skin line, a new game mode, and no more visual novel.
Recently, Riot completely revealed the upcoming summer event, Soul Fighters. It will include a new Soul Fighter skin line, ultimate skin, Arena game mode, and a new “metagame.” One of the skins part of the new skin line is the Soul Fighter Pyke. Additionally, this skin will also receive a prestige edition.
Pyke has been a champion, constantly receiving high-quality skins. And it is for a good reason. He is one of the most-played champions in the game. While he is intended to be played as a support, many players still try to make him work as a mid-laner.
Since his release, Pyke has been receiving skin every year. Last year, he received two skins, Ashen Knight Pyke and Empyrean Pyke. Ashen Knight Pyke is Mythic skin, and one of the best skin League of Legends has to offer. On the other hand, Empyrean Pyke is his legendary and second-best skin. Overall, Soul Fighter will be his first prestige skin in his arsenal, so expectedly, it will be amazing.

The Soul Fighter skin line will come out alongside the new Arena game mode in patch 13.14, scheduled to release on Thursday, July 20, 2023.
