Riot has revealed the upcoming Bard skin, Shan Hai Scrolls bard, which will release in patch 13.12.
Riot Games releases many skins in League of Legends based on real-life events. One such event is the Lunar New Year.
Lunar New Year celebrates the start of the Lunisolar Calander, whose months are based on moon cycles. Since this occasion is mainly celebrated in China, it is also known as Chinese New Year. Most modern media celebrates this occasion, and League of Legends is no exception.
There are many skins skin lines released for the Lunar New Year. For example, Riot released the Mythmaker and Lunar Gods skins earlier this year for this event. Another one of the well-liked Lunar skin lines is Shan Hai Scrolls.
Shan Hai Scrolls is a skin line depicting champions as mythical gods and monsters. Additionally, these creatures are trapped within scrolls. And some of them, like Shan Hai Scrolls Jhin, want to escape the scrolls and cause havoc in the multiverse.
Recently, Riot has revealed the newest iteration of this skin line, featuring four unique skins. One of them is Shan Hai Scrolls Bard.
Bard is a support champion released in 2015. He is a support champion designed specifically for roaming. Moreover, because of his unique base design, many players adore him. However, also because of his design, Riot has a hard time making skins for him.
While Bard is considerably a new champion, he only has five skins. The Shan Hai Scrolls will be his 6th skin. As it is Bard’s newest skin, it has some of the best designs, animations, and sound effects. It could very well be his best skin.
