After the recent bug that transforms Neeko into a tower, Riot temporarily disabled her in League of Legends.
Every game has quirky, hilarious, annoying, and sometimes infuriating bugs. And League of Legends is no exception.
As League of Legends is an old game, it is filled with weird and unexpected bugs. Even though Riot Games tries their best to reduce the number of bugs, some always fly under the radar. Despite most bugs happening in regular ranked or normal matches, a lot of the time, significant bugs also occur in the League of Legends Worlds as well.
In League of Legends, most bugs and exploits happen because of different champions. And one of the buggiest champions is Neeko.
Neeko is a shapeshifting champion released in 2018. She has two specific abilities that make Neeko unique from the rest of the cast. Firstly, her passive lets her shapeshift into any allied champions. While disguised, she can move around and use auto attacks. But her disguise breaks when she gets damaged or casts any of her abilities.
Furthermore, her E-Shapesplitter creates a clone of her current form. She gains bonus movement speed and invisibility for 0.5 seconds when she uses her E. These two are the buggiest abilities in her kit.
And very recently, a new bug was discovered regarding her passive. With this new bug, Neeko can transform into a current and deal enormous damage.

Neeko Got Disabled After The Tower Bug
Like all the champions, almost everything in League of Legends is counted as a “unit.” Like monsters, wards, minions, nexus, and even towers. And one quirk of Neeko’s passive is that she can transform into any allied unit. Meaning not only she can transform into any allied champions but also any allied units.
Because of this, she can disguise herself as a tower through this bug. Not just any other tower, she can even disguise herself into a Nexus Obelisk. For people unaware, Nexus Obelisk is the laser tower located at the spawn fountain of each team. It possesses the highest number of damage and attack speeds out of any other turrets in the game.
So Neeko can transform into a Nexus Obelisk through this bug, and she can deal massive damage to the enemy. It doesn’t matter which stage of the game; she can one-shot any champion as this turret deals 1000 true damage.
Furthermore, players could transform Neeko into a nexus through this glitch.
Because of all these bugs, Riot has temporarily disabled Neeko from the game, which means people cannot play her in any game mode. There’s also no specific date on when Neeko will be playable again.
We can only wait for Neeko’s mini-rework to fix her properly, as her pick rate is only 0.7% without these bugs.
