After some digging, data miners found heirlooms for the next two legends. According to the data miners, Bangalore and Caustic were next in line to receive heirlooms in Apex Legends in the next two collection events.
Just right after players found out that Respawn is planning on giving Bangalore a “Tonfa” as her heirloom, all hell broke loose on social media platforms. With everything that is going on around the world with Police brutality, some players thought it was really insensitive from Respawn to give Bangalore a tonfa as her heirloom.
However, there were some outliers. Some players argued that a Tonfa actually fits really well with Banglore based on the lore of Apex Legends. As it was still a leak, many players did not pay any attention to it.

Biast12 who is a pretty prominent data miner in the Apex Legends data mining scene revealed that Respawn might have changed Bangalore’s Heirloom with a “dagger looking melee weapon” instead of her “Tonfa“.

Suffices to say that many players were upset with Respawn. Even though it was all leaks and Respawn didn’t mention anything public as of now, some members of the Apex community is not happy with Respawn following the recent changes to Bangalore’s heirloom in the game files. Although just because it is in the game files doesn’t mean that it is officially confirmed. Therefore, take all of these leaks with a grain of salt.
