Ubisoft has finally confirmed the release date for Rainbow Six Siege‘s Operation Vector Glare, and it will be deployed on the live servers on June 14th.

Rainbow Six Siege’s Y7S2 Vector Glare was initially supposed to launch on June 7th, but due to a player experience issue, the release was postponed. Now, it seems like that problem has been resolved, as the newest season will drop on all platforms on Tuesday, June 14th.

The season kicks off with the brand-new operator, Sens, who is a 3-health 1-speed Attacker with a rollable gadget that projects up a wall to block lines of sight. This green wall acts as an attacker smoke grenade, as you can shoot and walk through it, without taking any damage.

Alongside this new operator, Ubisoft is introducing the new TDM-specific map, the much-anticipated shooting range, which will allow players to try out different guns and attachments in one environment, and more gameplay updates to improve the Siege experience. You can find all the new changes coming with Y7S2 Vector Glare in the Designer’s Notes.

Rainbow Six Siege’s regional esports league will also restart from June 14th on the new patch, as the latest operator grace period has been removed. So from this season, both Azami and Sens will be available in pro-play, which should provide the viewers with more exciting gameplay.

As of now, Ubisoft has not confirmed the release time or patch size of the new update. We will make sure to update you with the latest information as soon as it is revealed, so keep following us.
