Ubisoft has revealed the dates and the latest set of map pool changes coming to Rainbow Six Siege Esports in Stage 2.

Stage 2 of the R6 Esports 2023 season is set to kick off on Friday, 1st September 2023, with the South Korea League. The other eight regions will soon follow this.

The format for Stage 2 will remain the same, along with the pathway for teams to book their place for the BLAST R6 Atlanta Major (October 30 to November 12), with 24 places up for grabs.

For Stage 2, Ubisoft decided to shuffle the competitive map pool by removing Villa and Theme Park from the current pool. These two maps are now being replaced with Nighthaven Labs and the newly reworked Consulate. While these changes are a bit controversial, it will still be exciting to see how these new maps pan out on the esports side.

Here are the dates and key changes ahead of the second stage starting in September.

LEAGUE UPDATES

The MENA League will have the winning team from each stage qualify for the following stage automatically – meaning Team Falcons will be returning for Stage 2 automatically. The seven remaining teams will qualify through a double-elimination bracket qualifier.
