How to Beat Eri in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
Eri is the fighting-type leader in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. She is a late-game leader in the game. All of her Pokemon are levels 55-56. So you need to match or get close to in level before you take her on in a Pokemon battle. So make sure to grind and do other activities until all the Pokemon of your party reaches level 55.
Before taking Eri on a fight, you will have to clear the base. This part is the same for all the team star base. You need to fight the guards at the gate of the base. Upon defeating them, you will be granted access to the base. Once inside the base, you need to defeat 30 different pokemon within the time limit using the quick battle feature. Then you are good to take on Eri.
Eri of team star uses the following Pokemon in the battle:
- Toxicroak (Poison/Fighting) – Level 55
- Lucario (Fighting/Steel) – Level 55
- Passimian (Fighting) – Level 55
- Annihilape (Fighting/Ghost) – Level 55
- Revavroom the Starmobile (Fighting) – Level 56
As we can see, all the Pokemon she uses are Fighting type Pokemon. So having a Psychic and Flying type is very valuable for the battle. The best counter to all of these Pokemon would be Gardevoir, Azumarill, and Corvknight. If you have them on your team or you want to build up a team to beat Eri, now is the time to use them. Other Pokemon that are good for this fight are, Gallade, Gyarados, and Skeledirge.
If you have picked the fire-type starter, then you will have a high-level Skeledirge in your team. But if you haven’t picked the fire-type starter, you can replace them with a more effective Pokemon for the battle. With the right team and level, this battle will become no more than a small obstacle on your way to becoming the best Pokemon trainer in the world of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
