Starting as quite a slow off-bit, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is already in the backslash for its flaky gameplay and features. In this installment, players have to roam around the Paldea region, catch some exclusive Pocket monsters, complete the Pokedex, defeat the Gym Leaders, and beat them again, and that is how this sequence should go down.
Now, talking about being slow, you will actually walk slowly throughout the game. However, we still wonder if there is a hidden in-game mechanics that might come in handy and save us time when walking around this not-so-small Paldea region. And that is all about this guide. Hop in!

How to Run in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
The first time you enter into a game, you get introduced to the running mechanics followed by the movements. In Switch, all you have to do is push the analog stick to the furthest; that is all it takes to start the engine. However, the question arises, are we missing the mechanics to run in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?
Unfortunately, the answer is yes. Yes, we are. And you cannot fill your running shoes either with someone else. What we have is, walk, but faster. Like that meme; wait, but faster.
In simple, you can walk fast rather than run. However, there actually is something to fill your running shoes with. Miraidon and Koraidon will gladly be your party member after a certain point. You will be able to ride them, which is how your running shoes will have a purpose.
