Learn how to grind and farm money, aka UC fast, in No More Heroes 3.

No More Heroes 3 is set to be the final story of Travis. In this game, he aims to be a galactic champion by fighting through various hurdles. The game has some changes, but it still keeps the core No More Heroes 3 gameplay: funny, wacky, and full of action. To advance through the game, level up your stats, and even unlock collectibles, the game has different form currencies that you need to look for.

There are two types of currency in No More Heroes 3, UC and WESN. While WESN is required to collect cosmetic items and upgrade your character, UC must progress through the game. Hence, UC is more integral to the game. UC or Utopicoin, therefore can be considered as money in No More Heroes 3, and you need to earn a lot of it.

Like WESN, there are several ways to farm for UC in the game, mostly through completing side missions and fights. Some players prefer to play through the game as fast as possible and do not focus on farming or earning points or currencies for complete progression. Such as unlocking all stats and abilities or all cosmetics. However, you cannot neglect to farm for UC or Utopicoins. They are integral to participating in Ranked Battles, which in turn progresses the story.

Therefore if you’re looking for ways to get rich quickly, follow this guide describing how to earn / farm UC or money fast in No More Heroes 3.

Complete Volunteer Missions

Volunteer Missions are side quests or, more specifically, side jobs. You take up different chores and tasks that reward you with money. These short mini-games range from lawn mowing, taking out the trash, or participating in Coast Guard tasks.

The greater difficulty of the Volunteer Missions you choose, the better the payout is. However, the Coast Guard, Lawn Mowing, and Toilet Rescue missions are the easiest, quickest, and most rewarding.

From these three, we suggest you take up the Coast Guard ones if you’re in a hurry. Coast Guard missions don’t take long and are also too easy. Just aim and shoot from the patrol boat at the incoming alligators. In fact, the reward at the greatest difficulty is 5500 UC, while at the easiest, it is 3500 UC.

Lawn Mowing is also easy and rewarding, but it takes some time to complete and can become boring.

Sell Off Junk

As you defeat enemies in No More Heroes 3, you can collect Junk as pickups. These Junk can be used for upgrading and creating Death Glove Chips and also can be sold for a high price. If you have extra Junk lying around, sell them off to Beef Head.

Junk has varying rarity, designated by colors and varying selling prices.

  • Purple (Super Rare): Sells for 10,000 UC
  • Blue (Rare): Sells for 5,000 UC
  • Yellow (Uncommon): 1,000 UC
  • Light Green (Common): 400 UC

Ranked Battles are the main battles needed to advance the story. To complete them, you must win a prerequisite of Designated Matches and pay a fee in UCs. Hence, the majority of your UC goes in Ranked Battles.

DonMai Sushi Shops

DonMai Sushi Shops are small stalls where you can eat to acquire temporary stat boosts that give you extra advantages in battles. So it’s a good idea to spend some UC on sushi to prepare for a battle.

Gacha Machines

In the Gacha Room of the Motel, You can find the Alien Gacha Machines, Assassin Gacha Machine, and Battle Recreation Gacha Machine. The Assassin and Battle Recreation cost 300UC and 1000UC, respectively. If you have extra money and want to collect some toys for collecting, you can spend some here.
