Modern Warfare 2 will feature many classic maps from Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer, and Treyarch’s past CoD titles.
Call of Duty is one of the most iconic games in the world. The title features more than 10 games developed by studios like Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer, and Treyarch. The most famous CoD games are the MW and BO titles.
All these titles feature maps with a unique sense of flow and playstyle. However, these maps rarely come back in past or future titles. Surprisingly, leaker TheGhostofHope has claimed that MW2 will feature maps from previous titles arriving later in the game’s lifecycle.

Classic Maps Pack in MW2
According to Hope, MW2 will feature map packs containing classic maps from past CoD titles of other developers other than IW.
It was previously reported that MW2 would feature classic Modern Warfare 2 (2009) maps. These maps have been rumored to be the year 2 content for the game. However, Hope added to his leaks in a turn of events by suggesting that classic maps from Treyarch, Sledgehammer Games, and IW will arrive at the game as a “paid” map pack.
However, fans were quick to share their discontent with this move, as including paid map packs has always split the community. The paid map pack will only decrease players for the game’s usual playlist and modes. This move has killed many CoD titles in the past, making many players worry about the upcoming title.
Stay frosty and take this with a grain of salt, as these are leaks at this point until official announcements have been made. However, Hope has been right about almost every leak in the past, including the upcoming game modes DMZ and Raids.
