Best Weapon You Should Use for Medium Build
There are 21 weapons in the Finals, with 6 of them exclusive to the Medium Build. Although all weapons for Medium Build are potent in-game, a few stand out due to their versatility and damage output. Here are the best weapons you should use for Medium Build:
5. CL-40

Weapon Overview:
- Bodyshot damage – 75 max splash (+ 25 direct hit)
- Headshot damage – 75 max splash (+ 25 direct hit)
- Damage per second – 145.45
- Magazine capacity – 4
- Reload time – 3.3 seconds
The CL-40 is a pump-action grenade launcher. While playing with the weapon, we found the weapon to be underwhelming. The splash damage of the nades takes out almost all classes easily if they connect in the first place. However, if you’re too close to the splash range, then it is safe to say you will lose a good chunk of your health.
Pros | Cons |
---|---|
High splash damage | Suitable for narrow pathways |
Requires intermediate game and map knowledge | |
Self-inflicting splash damage at close-range |
4. Model 1887

Weapon Overview:
- Bodyshot damage – 128 (8 per pellet x 16 pellets)
- Headshot damage – N/A
- Damage per second – 151
- Magazine capacity – 6
- Reload time – 0.94×6 = 5.64 seconds
Model 1887 is a lever action single-load shotgun. During our weapon tests, we found the Model 1887 to be the weakest yet the strongest weapon for Medium build. It has excellent damage at close range. But if you extend a little further to mid-range or long-range, the shotgun deals zero damage, which means you will most likely die at the hands of your enemies.
Pros | Cons |
---|---|
Excellent close-range damage | High bullet spread |
High damage drop-off | |
No long-range capability |
3. AKM

Weapon Overview:
- Bodyshot damage – 20
- Headshot damage – 30
- Damage per second – 205
- Magazine capacity – 36
- Reload time – 2.3 seconds
The AKM or AK-47 is one of the most iconic weapons across all media. Safe to say, the AKM is currently the most balanced weapon in the Finals. We found the weapon to be a perfect rifle for all ranges during our play sessions. It dealt good damage at close to mid-range gunfights. However, the iron sight at longer ranges made the weapon’s handling a little erratic compared to its peer, the FCAR.
Pros | Cons |
---|---|
Decent DPS | Limited visibility at longer ranges |
Solid fire rate | |
High damage output | |
2. FCAR

Weapon Overview:
- Bodyshot damage – 26
- Headshot damage – 39
- Damage per second – 260
- Magazine capacity – 20
- Reload time – 2.0 seconds
The FCAR is the iconic SCAR-L found in many games, including Call of Duty and Battlefield. The rifle’s optic sight is good for medium to long-range gunfights. We found the rifle to be very strong in team environments as well as solo ventures. However, the only issue with the rifle is its small magazine size.
Pros | Cons |
---|---|
Optic Sight (Holograph) | Small magazine size |
High damage output | |
Excels at long-range engagements | |
1. R.357

Weapon Overview:
- Bodyshot damage – 74
- Headshot damage – 148
- Damage per second – 225
- Magazine capacity – 6
- Reload time – 2.50 seconds
The R .357 is the strongest handgun in the game. During our play sessions, this revolver excelled over its counterparts for Medium Build. It has excellent damage at all ranges, especially close to long ranges. Here’s a secret tip for the R .357 if you choose to fight in the arena – Deal chunks of damage to any enemies getting hit by your opponent. You will easily lower their health, and you might end up getting a quick kill in the process.
Pros | Cons |
---|---|
Shreds through all classes | Limited visibility |
High damage output | Slow reload |
Great for close to medium-range | |
So, if you’re a Medium Build main, we recommend you take one medium-range weapon and a long-range weapon as reserve, allowing you to switch and pick weapons depending on your or your team’s needs.
