Riot has announced massive Jayce buffs for League of Legends on patch 14.4.

The last patch, 14.3, was the Lunar Revel 2024 update. With this, we have seen many new additions and adjustments in League of Legends.

As for new additions, we got a new event pass, a new skin line, some new accessories, etc. Moreover, we have also gotten so many champion adjustments as well. Not only that, but we even got some micropatches.

Similarly, patch 14.4 will be the second part of Lunar Revel 2024. Therefore, it will also have many new changes. Firstly, they will make a new iteration of the Porcelain skin line. Among them, Aurelion Sol will receive the legendary skin. Additionally, the old Porcelain Kindred will receive the prestige variant.

Since this patch is right around the corner, Riot has revealed every single champion and item change in the game. One of the champions who will receive a buff is Jayce.

League of Legends Patch 14.4: Jayce Buffs

  • Base Stats
    • Base AD: 57 >>> 59
  • Lightning Field (Melee W)
    • Mana Restore: 10/12/14/16/18/20 >>> 15/17/19/21/23/25
    • Damage: 35/50/65/80/95/110 >>> 40/55/70/85/100/115
  • Thundering Blow (Melee E)
    • NEW: Mirrors Lee Sin Ultimate Knockback

Before we get into Jayce’s changes, we must talk about his ranked stats first. Jayce is currently the worst top laner in the game currently. The main reason is the new item system rework. Due to this, he is struggling badly in ranked.

Now, let’s get into changes. His base AD increased slightly. For his W, both the mana restore and damage were increased. As for his E, it should work more similarly to Lee Sin’s ultimate.

As for what these changes would lead to, it should make his early game so more easier. While the base AD buff is negligible in the late game, during the laning phase, it can make a difference. Additionally, the mana restore in the laning phase is a huge improvement, as he can stay in the lane for more time and keep up the pressure. And the slight damage buff is a nice thing to have. As for his E, the knockback should work similarly to Lee Sin’s ultimate. Overall, this is a nice quality-of-life update, as players can be even more versatile while playing Jayce.

Release Date

The Jayce buffs will come out on patch 14.4, scheduled for Thursday, February 22, 2024.
