Riot will be implementing the Language Selection feature next month.
League of Legends‘ newest Dev Update video has just been released. In the video, Riot shared quite a lot of information regarding upcoming Champions, Lore changes, and the Skarner Rework. Riot has also provided us with a release window for the upcoming Language Selection feature.
Language selection in League of Legends is a tedious process. Despite the game supporting over a dozen languages, it only allows players to use the most widely used languages within the region.
For instance, in order for a North American to switch the game language from English to Korean or Japanese, the player must alter the game data. But altering game data violates Riot’s terms of service, and players who attempt it will get banned.
As a result, players have been requesting a safer and simpler method to switch the game’s language for years. However, fret not; Riot has heard our cries and is looking to implement a Language Selection feature to League of Legends. Starting in November, players will be able to change their in-game language to any of the supported languages.
In this article, we will take a look at the upcoming feature and show you how to enable it.
