Infinity Ward is currently working on fixing the Warzone’s parachute glitch and they have confirmed it will be fixed within the mid-season 5 updates.

Call of Duty: Warzone is one of the most popular battle royale games at this moment, but it is very common for players to encounter glitches, game-breaking bugs on a daily basis. And every time Infinity Ward patch on bug/glitch, players find more bugs later on.

Now a new glitch has emerged in Warzone which is related to parachute. A lot of times when players jump off ledges or stairs which are barely above the ground, their parachute would automatically pop up out of nowhere.

This glitch has been in the game for quite some time now. On Reddit, a lot of players have already reported about the glitch, but there were no responses from the Infinity Ward. A lot of players have complained that this glitch can occur in many places and a lot of players have even died because of it.

A popular Twitch streamer TimTheTatman has also encountered this mysterious glitch and because of it he even lost that 1v1 skirmish. His reaction says it all that he was certainly not happy about it as he posted the clip on his Twitter asking how long it has been in Warzone.

After seeing the clip one Warzone player asked Infinity Ward’s Co-Design Director of Multiplayer Joe Cecot, whats his thought on this matter as the glitch has been in Warzone for months now.

“We had been spot fixing this issue in the geometry but map tweaks and updates would cause more locations to become problematic,” Joe Cecot replied. “Asked Code to have a look at it and they have a fix we’re going to put into test. It should be in the mid season 5 update if all goes well!”

So, according to Joe Cecot, the glitch should be entirely patched out from the game after the mid-season 5 updates. Call of Duty: Warzone season 5 is expected to go live on August 5.
