Riot is looking for ways to improve the League of Legends client in the near future.
One of the worst parts about playing League of Legends is dealing with its in-game client. The game has one of modern video games’ most frustrating in-game clients. It constantly breaks and is often filled with various bugs. In almost every patch, Riot introduces bugs to the client that either break it or make it difficult for players to navigate through it.
Over the years, Riot has implemented various ways to improve the in-game client. But these improvements often turn out to be short-term fixes and don’t really solve its fundamental issues.
That said, Riot has stated that they are aware of the issues with the client and are looking for ways to improve the League of Legends client.

Client Improvements
In a recent Reddit post, Riot Pupulasers shared details about the current state and future plans for League of Legends. He shared that Arena will be returning in December, and Nexus Blitz will also make a return in October. In addition, he also addressed some concerns about the current skins pricing. He also shared some details about the in-game client.
According to the Rioter, many in Riot feel strongly about fixing the client, and some are actively working to improve the client. Due to balance improvement, QoL, alleviating tech/design debt, and adding new features taking up time, it has been pretty hard to do so.
Riot is adamant about fixing in-game clients, but it is still unknown when it will happen.
