In case you’re wondering how to enable the net graph in Counter-Strike 2, you’re in the right place.

Counter-Strike 2 is the highly-awaited successor to the fan-favorite Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. This much-anticipated update utilizes the best of the Source 2 engine. CS2 is finally released fully on September 27, 2023.

With the Source 2 update, the game brings significant changes in every aspect, including some console commands. Console commands were a vital part of CS: GO as they let players change many settings outside the usual in-game options. Hence, players could enhance their gameplay experience using the console commands.

One of the most commonly used console commands was net_graph 1. This command accurately presented important information such as fps, ping, packet loss, choke, server tick rate, and many more in-game. However, this useful feature works differently in CS 2.

How to See Net Graph in CS 2

Due to the Source 2 update, some of the previous commands that worked in CS:GO no longer work in CS 2. Similarly, the net_graph 1 command, which everyone is familiar with, doesn’t work in the latest title.

Instead, you need to use a new command, cq_netgraph 1. However, it will now show the information only as a graph on the top-right side of your screen. Unfortunately, this command will not show you the data like ping or packet loss as before.

However, Valve has recently improved the net graph in CS2 with their latest patch. Now you can see the network details like ping and packet loss alongside the graph. For this you will have to use one extra console command cq_netgraph_problem_show_auto true. This command following by the previous cq_netgraph 1 will allow you to see your packet loss and ping written above the green graph.

However, this data will only show whenever you experience a network lag or packet loss or high ping issues. Unless there isn’t any it will remain hidden.

If you want to see fps in-game, use cl_showfps 1 in your console command. This command will display the fps counter on the top left of your screen. Nevertheless, this command does not include other measurements like choke, ping, server tick rate, etc.

You can also use cl_showfps 2. It’ll show more accurate fps and millisecond timing.

These are all the commands you need to know instead of the net graph command for the new CS 2.
