Valve might’ve confirmed Counter-Strike 2’s release, which might happen in the next week.

Counter-Strike 2 may be the most significant FPS evolution of the decade. Despite VALORANT‘s tough competition, CS:GO is still going strong in 2023. To top it all off, Valve announced Counter-Strike 2 and dropped the most exciting news for the CS community and FPS fans.

Counter-Strike 2 delivers precisely what players expected. As a result, millions of players have been drawn in by the visual upgrade, volumetric smoke changes, and map overhauls. Due to limited beta testing, more than half of the player base cannot yet experience what the new game brings. However, thanks to the recent discovery, the wait seems to be coming to an end.

Counter-Strike 2 May Get a Full Release on September 27

On March 22, 2023, Valve announced Counter-Strike 2, which caused quite some uproar in the Counter-Strike community. Since then, Valve has begun releasing waves of the CS 2 limited-test beta to specific players.

Although it was good news for those specific players, the majority of the community was pretty upset because of that. Valve previously stated that the game would be released this summer. However, there was no word on when it would be released.

However, Valve has recently hinted at a possible release date for Counter-Strike 2. To many, it may appear to be just another tweet from a Twitter account checking in on its followers. If you’re familiar with Counter-Strike 2, you’ll understand what it means.

Although it is just speculation, we already know that Counter-Strike 2’s release is closing in. So, based on CS2’s past tweets, it can be confidently said that Counter-Strike 2 will be released on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. However, take it with a grain of salt.
