How to Get More FPS by Optimizing Video Settings
Palworld is a resource-heavy game and uses a good amount of GPU and CPU from your system. So, to make your life easier, we played Palworld for a while, and after a few tests tweaking in-game settings, we found out that some settings completely change how the game performs. So now, after opening Palworld, head to in-game Settings and select the “Graphics” tab. Then, start tweaking the following settings depending on your PC setup.
- Presets: Set it to “Custom” to tinker settings to your preference.
- Screen Mode: Full Screen.
- Screen Resolution: 1920×1080 or 1280×720 would be optimal for you, depending on your PC setup.
- Max FPS: Set this to 90 for a smoother experience. If you have a 144 hz or greater refresh rate monitor, set it to the last bar.
- VSync: Turn VSync Off for a smoother gameplay experience.
- Motion Blur: Turning Off Motion Blur can remove visual clutter.
- Anti-Aliasing: Select FXAA for a smoother experience.
- View Distance: Set it to High if you have a high-end PC, for mid to lower-end PCs it is wiser to experiment between Medium and Low view distance settings.
- Grass Details and Shadows: Medium or Low would be a better option to get better performance. However, for Visual preference, you can turn it to High.
- Effects Quality, Texture Quality: Set this low for a smooth gameplay experience.
- DLSS: For NVIDIA users, set this to Performance or Ultra Performance for an added boost to performance.
It is recommended for High-end, Medium-end, and Low-end PC users to use Medium or Lower settings to get the highest FPS in-game. Another tip to get more FPS in-game would be check if your drivers are up to date or not. Here are the driver update links for both NVIDIA and AMD users:
