There are 13 Nessies in the new Firing Range as easter eggs. Let’s see how to find them all.
The new Firing Range in Season 17 was everything players asked for. Despite the fact Respawn took so many seasons to upgrade the Firing Range, the introduction of all the new POIs and features has made the community forget about its previous shortcomings.
The revamped Firing Range is really massive compared to the previous one. Not only is it huge, but it is also full of useful functionalities. From improving your aim to learning new movement mechanics, the new Firing Range has everything to offer.
Respawn also made the Firing Range exciting by tossing in a few easter eggs. There is even a sneaky easter egg from Assassin’s Creed that gives you a fully animated view of the Firing Range from above. Following Apex’s tradition, Respawn also added the iconic secret Nessies that can be found all over the Firing Range.

How Many Nessies are There in the New Firing Range?
Currently, there are 13 total findable Nessies in the Firing Range. 10 of them are Green Nessies scattered throughout the map. 3 of them: Golden, Pink, and Blue, do not spawn on the map right off the bat. You need to activate them by completing some hidden objectives in the Firing Range.
Fastest Way to Get All 13 Nessies
In this section, we’ll show you the exact locations and tell you what you need to do to get the 13 Nessies in the Firing Range. Some of the Nessies are hiding in specific spots, and you’ll need specific movement characters to reach there. But don’t worry. We’ll tell you precisely what you can do to make your Nessie hunt easier.
Golden/ Yellow Nessie
The Golden/ Yellow Nessie is the hardest one to get. As this is one of the special Nessies, you’ll have to complete some objectives to make it spawn. To do that, you need to use the Charge Tower first. It isn’t necessary to use it at the beginning, but having your Ultimate charged at the beginning may help you afterward. After that, visit all 8 POIs: Raven’s Nest, Agility Course, Tech Tunnel, Training Grounds, The Belfry, Wolf’s Peak, The Pitt, and Firing Range.
Now, go back to the central spawn location and go to the very back of the tunnel. A Nessie should spawn behind the last crate after a few minutes. For some people, it takes longer to spawn the Golden Nessie. So, use that time to scavenge for other Nessies in this list.

Pink Nessie
Getting the Pink Nessie also requires you to complete a special objective. You have to kill 100 Dummies in the Firing Range to make the Pink Nessie spawn. To get the 100 kills easily, it is recommended you set the Dummies’ behavior, armor, and movement to the easiest from the Customize Range settings.
After killing 100 Dummies, reach the top of The Belfry, which is the tower located at the center of the Training Grounds. Walk to the edge of the Zipline railings, and you’ll find the Pink Nessie there.

Blue/ Cyan Nessie
Blue/ Cyan Nessie is the final unique Nessie in the new Firing Range, which also requires you to complete a special task to spawn. To make the Blue Nessie spawn, pick up a Throwing Knife from any Death Box or Firing Range. You need to get a vertical Throwing Knife headshot-kill on a Dummy in order to make the Blue Nessie spawn.
It might take more than a few tries to get a vertical Throwing Knife headshot-kill on a Dummy, as it takes precise accuracy. Moreover, you can’t see the Dummies’ position while you are aiming at the sky.
After you get the kill, go to Raven’s Nest, which is located right above the exit of the middle spawn tunnels. The Blue Nessie should now spawn in the Raven’s Nest.

Green Nessie #1
The first Green Nessie is located at the left spawn (while facing toward the Firing Range.) You’ll find Nessie hiding behind the stack of crates right beside the entrance.
Green Nessie #2
This one is very straightforward to find. Slide down to the Firing Range. You’ll find the Green Nessie beside the Care-package weapon collection.
Green Nessie #3
The next Green Nessie is at the top of The Belfry, which is the tower at the center of the Training Grounds. You’ll find the Green Nessie sitting right beside the blue chair.
Green Nessie #4
The 4th Green Nessie is in a tricky position. It is also out of bounds and hard to reach. You’ll need a movement character like Valkyrie, Pathfinder, Horizon, or Octane to reach there. The fastest way to reach this Nessie is by getting on the Agility Course and using Valkyrie to reach there. Be careful of the timer too.
Green Nessie #5
The next Nessie is secretly enjoying its time on a tree. You can find this tree just before the edge of the map. Refer to the picture to find the exact tree on the map. After you reach the tree, use Revenant, Horizon, or Valkyrie to access this Nessie easily.
Green Nessie #6
The 6th Green Nessie is located inside the Dropship beside the Death Box. The Dropship is located in between the Training Grounds and the rocky mountain.
Green Nessie #7
The following Nessie is located at the top of the rocky mountain, AKA the Wolf’s Peak. Use Pathfinder’s Zipline/ Evac Tower/ Valkyrie’s Ultimate to reach the top. The Nessie will be sitting on top of the Death Box. Also, grab an Evac Tower from the Death Box.
Green Nessie #8
Deploy the Evac Tower and take it. Land on the small rocky island shown in the picture below. Jump on the very edge of the island, and you’ll see a Green Nessie beside two trash bags waiting to be recovered. Grab an Evac Tower from the Death Box located on the same island to reach the next destination.
Green Nessie #9
Deploy and take the Evac Tower. Land on the opposite side of the map and reach the edge. Go to the specific spot on the edge and drop down. Turn around, and you’ll find a Green Nessie alongside 5 Wattson plushies.
