Riot Games has secretly left a puzzle on the League of Legends Sentinels of Light event page.
Riot Games has been building the Ruination story for months now. First, started with the introduction of Viego, the Ruined King where Riot showed that something unpleasant is going to happen across all over Runeterra. A few days ago, Riot even teased how badly Demacia is affected by the shadow isles’ mist.
Riot also mentioned that Sentinels of Light champions will be a huge part of the upcoming event and there’s also a new champion named Akshan, the Lost Sentinel.
Now, as we get closer and closer to the event, today, ahead of the event’s reveal, Riot has shared the event page on their official League of Legends website. And apparently on the website, there’s a secret puzzle that can lead you to the Sentinels of Light event poster.

Here’s how to solve the secret Sentinels of Light puzzle on the League of Legends website:
- Enter the event site.
- Press on the Viego’s hand in the painting as shown in the above image. If you press anywhere else a 3-second countdown to ‘Ruin’ will start that will basically do nothing.
- Then on the new screen, press play, and once it asks you for a password enter “->8->8->8->8”
- This takes you to a second screen where it asks for another password. Here enter the password “Akshan”.
After completing the above steps, you will be taken to a page with new key artwork for the Sentinels of Light event featuring Viego, Gwen, upcoming Sentinels of Light champion Akshan along with Lucian and Senna, and new Vayne – Graves skin.
