Players are reporting that upon completing the new secret missions they are getting PsyOps and BRG icons.
Spirit Blossom event and skins were a huge success and in order to keep players occupied Riot has already announced the next skin line PsyOps earlier this month. Sona, Vi, Master Yi, Shen, and Ezreal are the luck champions who are getting their own sci-fi themed skins. As Ezreal is getting the Prestige Edition skin, it is pretty much clear that PsyOps will the next event before Worlds in League of Legends.
Although the PsyOps skins are scheduled to go live on patch 10.18, currently on patch 10.17, a lot of players are reporting that they are already getting PsyOps icon after completing some hidden missions. Along with the PsyOps icon, upon completing secret missions it now also possible to get the Black Rose Group (BRG) icon as well.
How to get the PsyOps icon
In order to get the PsyOps icon, you will have to play five games in a row in any game modes (bot games included) as Sona, Vi, Master Yi, Shen, or Ezreal.
After completing five games you will be rewarded with the new PsyOps icon and it will also enable another hidden mission called “Operation: Songbird Extraction”. In the new mission, you will need to play another five games once again with any champions while equipping the new PsyOps icon. And this Operation: Songbird Extraction will give you a Hextech Chest and a key.
How to get the BRG icon
Black Rose Group (BRG) is an upcoming new skin line that is scheduled to release after PsyOps. But apparently it seems like the BRG icon is already available and it also has similar missions as PsyOps. In order to get the BRG icon, you will have to play five games in a row in any game modes (bot games included) as Pyke, Zed, Viktor, or Kayle.
Upon completing the mission it will also enable another hidden mission called Operation: Songbird Security that is also required to play five games with BRG icon equipped. Similar to PsyOps, after finishing the BRG mission you will also be rewarded with a Hextech Chest and a key.
Both icons are now available to collect for free on patch 10.17 and it is still uncertain whether they will be accessible on patch 10.18 or not.
