As the official contract of the core members of Astralis is nearing its end by this year, teams are already sweeping in to acquire both players or coaches from the roster.

Danny “zonic” Sørensen was a pro-CSGO player and later became the coach of the Finish CSGO team Astralis. With Zonic as their coach, Astralis dominated the pro-CSGO scene with never-before-scene consistency.

Furthermore, they won multiple back-to-back Majors and every other notable tournament at their peak. Just like every other good run, it all came down crashing as a global pandemic canceled all the big LAN events that were suppose to be held in 2020.

Two of the core members Xyp9x and gla1ve took a temporary break from the active Astralis roster. Following their return, they couldn’t perform in the same way fans expected them to be. After some setbacks “dev1ce” shocked the whole esports scene by leaving Astralis to start a new chapter in his life as a member of legendary Swedish team Ninjas in Pyjamas.

Zonic might move to HellRaisers Esports

According to sources, the contract of most players and coaches from the original Astralis lineup is about to end very soon. Astralis players and their legendary coach “zonic” might look for new homes provided if they don’t renew their contracts.

Amid all the speculations regarding roster changes at Astralis, HellRaisers Esports started hinting that they might acquire “zonic” as their coach for CSGO. Even though it sounds too good to be true, the official Astralis contract will be expiring soon and it won’t be that surprising if “zonic” looks to move on to start a new chapter with HellRaiers Esports.

Unsurprisingly, the mere mention of more changes at Astralis has shocked many fans. Only time will tell what will happen to the core Astralis roster after their contract expires later this year.
