Wriothesley Artifact Set Guide
The Marechaussee Hunter 4-piece is the best artifact set for Wriothesley. It will increase his normal & charged attack damage by 15% along with crit rate when there is a shift in Wriothesley’s HP. Blizzard Strayer, Shimenawa’s Reminiscence, Gladiator’s Finale, Pale Flame can also be viable options if you are going for specific team comps like freeze or mono cryo.
Crit & ATK stats will be the priority for main stats, and as for the substats, you should prioritize crit rate, crit damage, attack, and energy recharge.
Best Weapons for Wriothesley
Cashflow Supervision is the signature weapon for Wriothesley and is his best-suited option. It offers crit rate and a passive that increases his ATK, ATK Damage, Charge Attack DMG, and Attack Speed. The increase is based on HP increase and decrease, which perfectly suits his decreasing HP playstyle.
Alternatively, you have other 5-star and 4-star options like Tulaytullah’s Remembrance, The Widsith, Flowing Purity, or Dodoco Tales. Personally, I prefer The Widsith over 5-star weapon choices for Wriothesley.
There are two main ways to build Wriothesley: balanced and burst.
On Field Main DPS
As the name suggests, Wriothesley will stay on the field for most of your team’s rotation, and other characters will provide support & buffs that will increase his damage. He will be a selfish DPS that will take most time on the field.
This is the ideal build for Wriothesley as he can completely utilize the effects from the Marechaussee Hunter set. Pair him with good, dedicated supports like Xiangling or Kazuha, and you’ll see Wriothesley obliterating the battlefield.
If you don’t want Wriothesley to take the field, then this is the build you should go for. This build focuses on lowering Wriothesley’s HP to below 50%, triggering the maximum bonus from his Frostbite passive talent, and then unleashing a devastating elemental burst.
For this build, he will require a decent amount of Energy Recharge, around 170 to 200% range.
Wriothesley’s playstyle is all about his normal & charge attack and using the HP decrease mechanic to increase his damage. It would be best if you used his burst every two rotations, as that way, you can quickly complete your normal attack combo and get the most damage out of his kit.
