Frostpunk 2 drops you into a cold and unforgiving world subject to an eternal world. You are tasked with leading the last city on Earth. Your duties include keeping your population healthy and relatively happy while building an economy from scratch.
Doing this will require careful city planning and Resource Management.
Every resource in Frostpunk 2 is important, though some are more important than others, and you’ll have to use each of them in one way or another. Balancing your acquisition and usage of these resources is arguably the most important as well as the hardest part of Frostpunk 2.

All Resources
People Resources
Resources are not only objects such as Coal and Oil, but people as well. The people of your city make up your workforce and the drivers of your economy. Moreover, they are the labor that will net you more physical resources.

Frostland Teams | You can send them to explore the Frostland, finding resources such as Cores, as well as Outposts. | Building Logistic Districts and /or Buildings within that district. Each district gives you 10 Frostland Teams, which can be expanded to 15. |
Guard Squads | Decreases Squalor and Crime | – Building watchtowers Each watchtower gives you 12 Guard Squads, except Patrol Watchtowers which gives 16 Guard Squads – Choosing the Mobilise Enforcers options with the Stalwarts faction. |
Workforce | Used to build and maintain Districts, Hubs, etc. | – Increases Passively with Population – Can be recruited from the Frostlands – Passing certain laws such as Family Apprenticeship – Researching Dutiful Youth can let you recruit more workers at one time. |
