List of Hubs

What are Hubs?

Hubs are special buildings in Frostpunk 2 that have unique effects on the neighboring Districts. They only take up one tile on the map and you can place them anywhere.

Hubs provide positive effects on the area they cover. They reduce the demand for Heat, Workforce, or Material for their corresponding District. Moreover, for the effects of a Hub to take place, it needs to have at least 3 district hexes in its range of influence.

For example, if you place a Heating Hub close to a Housing District, you will lower that District’s demand for heat. Therefore, it is crucial to plan your Districts with Hubs in mind as well.

How to Unlock Hubs

You can unlock Hubs through the Idea Tree. However, you will gain access to the Heating Hub at the start of Chapter 1.
