Fortnite Status revealed the downtime announcement on their Twitter account. The 16.50 patch update will be on May 25 which is a Tuesday. The Tweet reads,

“Keep running wild in a new game update.
Update v16.50 is scheduled to release on May 25. Downtime will begin at approx. 4 AM ET (08:00 UTC).”

Along with the reveal of the downtime for the 16.50 update, we also learned about some of the things that are coming.

“A fan favorite comes back out of the vault”

From the Tweet, we learn that a fan-favorite weapon or item is coming out of the vault.

The most logical speculation would be the the Dual Pistols because the Legendary Quest for week 11 is to deal damage with Dual Pistols. So. we might see the Dual Pistols get unvaulted tomorrow.

“Survey and oversee larger spaces in Creative”

Creative islands in Fortnite might be getting an increase in their size tomorrow.

“Spend your Bars BIG in the next Wild Week starting June 3!”

Fortnite’s next Wild Week will start on June 3 and it will be related to gold bars. We still don’t know much about the Wild Week modifiers. Increased gold from all sources is one possible modifier but it’s really early to speculate on this matter. Another possibility could be discount prices from NPC’s.

We might also see the Rainbow Racer Bundle and NBA skin bundles releasing tomorrow.
