Legendary mid-laner T1 Faker becomes the first player ever to achieve 2,000 kills in the LCK.
In today’s match against Afreeca Freecs in the 2020 League of Legends Champions Korea Spring Split, Faker secured 12 kills in two games, making his total career kills 2,000. With 2,000 kills to his name, Faker is now the first LCK player in history to reach 2,000 kills.
Faker has been playing for T1 since 2013 and has played a total number of 532 games in the LCK to achieve this milestone. And in these 532 games, he has more than a 67% win rate and a KDA of 4.3.
Throughout his career, Faker has won three world championships (2013, 2015, 2016), two Mid-Season Invitationals, and eight LCK titles. A North American team also offered him a blank check to join them, but he refused to join them and decided to stay on T1.
Recently, Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok has signed a new 3-year deal with T1. As a part of the agreement, Faker became a part-owner of T1 Entertainment & Sports.
Faker has multiple records under his name and achieving 2000 kills is just another record showcasing his dominance in the LCK and in the League of Legends Esports scene.
