The new update for CSGO is already here and most pro players are not happy with the optimization side of things.

Valve has recently released their new update to CSGO after the end of operation broken fang. It introduced a new subscription service for players who want to see their competitive and wingman stats, and other miscellaneous quality of life updates.

Turns out, this new update has a major flaw. Jonathan Jablonowski or more commonly known as “EliGe” is a pro-CSGO player for Team Liquid. He shared his frustration with the new update and called out Valve over game optimization.

FPS optimization needs to be Top priority

According to EliGe, even top-of-the-line computers are dipping below 200 FPS. And sometimes it is actually dropping down to 150 FPS. This isn’t a good sign as in the highest level of competition every frame matters.

EliGe entered a match to play on the new map and immediately felt that the overall state the game was in is in no way ready for serious competition. While a lot of prize money is on the line, bad optimization can negatively impact the outcome of a match.
