Learn how you can play as Lucy from Cyberpunk Edgerunners as one of the main characters of Cyberpunk 2077.
Earlier in September, CD PROJEKT RED announced to release an advanced patch to improve Cyberpunk 2077 more than ever. And the basis was quite dependent on the Netflix-released anime series Cyberpunk Edgerunners if you haven’t seen it already. This update basically includes new cosmetics, features, art direction, and a bit of a new storyline.
Let’s talk about the anime series and the character Lucy a little bit. Lucy, aka Lucyna Kushinada, is a Netrunner in the Night City. Netrunners are basically hackers that have implanted brain-computer interfaces in their bodies and note that they are the best in their field. To talk about Lucy, she talks less and cuts throats more. However, she has a dream to leave all this behind for the Moon.
Her elegance and deadliness are quite a combo to be favored by the Weebos. Her fighting abilities are much more diverse than the other ones in Edgerunners. Say you want the exact same build in the Cyberpunk 2077 for her. You will need the proper Cyberware, mods, and other stuff to feel like she is and was part of the game from the very beginning.
Play as Lucy in Cyberpunk 2077
There are some basic presets like her outfit, face, and some mods that can be used to develop her outlook. After that, we will focus on the tools she will use to cut throats. And yes, the stats matter the most. We will also be going through some perks as well. Hop in!
Download this mod for her outfit. It includes her outfit, makeup, hair, and the necessary shades.
Check out this mod for the preset of her face. You will get a closely similar facial preset along with her facial expressions.
Now, follow the steps below to know what to do with these mods:
- At first, move the mod files to Steam>SteamLibrary>steamapps>common>Cyberpunk2077>archieve>pc>mod
- Then here as well, GOG>GOGLibrary>Games>Cyberpunk2077>archieve>pc>mod
- And also here, Epic Stores>EpicLibrary>Cyberpunk2077>archieve>pc>mod
There you go. You are now set with her Appearance.
Here, we will focus on the lethal tools that she will carry in the Night City.
Monowire: This will be the signature weapon of Lucy in Cyberpunk 2077. It has the ability to shred flesh with a single blow, just the way she wants.
There are two versions of Monowire. You will find the typical one from Rippedoc vendors here and there. I would suggest going for the Legendary one. You will find it from the Ripperdocsin Downtown. Quite some worth as it will cost you $35,650 at 45 SC.
Netdriver MK.5: It has a quick-hack feature that can target up to 3 targets in a 6-meter radius. However, the damage can be increased by 30% if the RAM recovery rate is increased by 9 units. This Cyberware will make you feel like how a real Netrunner should be like, as Lucy falls under this category.
Get it from the Ripperdoc in Wellsprings from €$35000 at 40 SC.
Karenzikov: This Cyberware gets implanted in your nervous system to get controlled by your natural instinct. Dodge the enemies’ attacks while aiming and shooting at sight at the same time. Moreover, it can slow down the time that comes with a 5 seconds cooldown.
There are also a lot of variants for this Cyberware. To make Lucy’s time worthwhile, go for the Legendary one you will find from the Ripperdoc in Arraya. It will cost you €$28000 at 43 SC.
Stats and Perks
Reflex: With the Monowire equipped, you will be looking for Deathbolt. On top of that, get the Judge, Jury, and Executioner Perks.
Intelligence: As you will be dealing with a Netrunner, Breach Protocol and Quickhacking are the perks that will sharpen Lucy’s mind more than ever.
Body: Lucy needs to move fast. So you will need the Athletics section. Get the Steel and Chrome perks from there, and you will be set.
Cool: Crouching Tiger and the Ghost from the Ninjutsu section, and Cold Blood, Blood Brawl, and Predator from the Cold Blood section will be enough to feel like Lucyna Kushinada is on the field.
There you go, fellow night owl of the Night City. You now have the complete build of one of the most fierce fighters, Lucy, of the Night City, Cyberpunk 2077.
