Everything you need to know about Vehicle Contract Missions in Cyberpunk 2077.
Cyberpunk 2077 is a dystopian sci-fi RPG set in the near future. Developed by CD Projekt Red, it has a massive amount of content and things to do, just like the developer’s previous games.
Along with a substantial story mode, Cyberpunk has a lot of side content and quests for you to complete. Phantom Liberty, the first expansion for Cyberpunk 2077, brings in a plethora of new content, including a lot of side content along with the main questline of the expansion.

One such type of side content is Vehicle Contract Missions. These are repeatable missions given to you by Muamar “El Capitan” Reyes. They involve stealing a particular vehicle and driving it to a drop-off point. The rewards for completing these missions include eddies, weapons, shards, and new cars to purchase.
This guide is all about Vehicle Contracts in Phantom Liberty, how you can unlock them, how you can complete them, and what rewards you can get for completing them. Furthermore, it includes a list of all the Vehicle Contract Missions you can do.
Unlocking Vehicle Contracts
After finishing the mission Lucretia My Reflection and exiting the hideout, you will receive a call from Muamar “El Capitan” Reyes. You will find a blue steering wheel icon labeled as Mysterious Signal on the map. Go to this icon to start the side quest “Push it to the Limit.”
This quest requires you to steal a marked vehicle and drive it to Muamar’s garage for drop-off. Upon completion, you will unlock more Vehicle Contracts, which will spawn randomly over the map, marked by green steering wheels.
You should finish this quest as early as you can, as Vehicle Contracts allow you to get substantial rewards, which will help you significantly throughout your playthrough of Phantom Liberty and your time in Dogtown.
Completing Vehicle Contracts
Vehicle Contracts involve stealing a vehicle marked by the green steering wheel icon and driving it to a drop-off point. You may get chased by enemies and the NCPD during your mission, whom you can take out thanks to the newly added vehicle combat mechanic.
There are optional objective missions during these quests, such as:
- Time Limit – Completing the mission within a specified time limit.
- Chase – You will get attacked by enemy vehicles.
- No Damage – Completing the mission without taking damage.
- Hacking – Hack the vehicle you are in.
Though optional, completing these objectives will give you additional rewards such as money shards, item components, rare weapons, attachments, and skill shards. Furthermore, during time-limit missions, failing to deliver the vehicle before the time limit expires affects the number of eddies you get.
Some contracts may also have the stipulation of delivering the vehicles in good condition,
Vehicle Contract Rewards
Along with eddies, shards, item components, weapons, and attachments, completing a certain number of vehicle contracts also unlocks new vehicles for purchase in the Autofixer.

Furthermore, Discount Shards for the Autofixer will also be included as your rewards for vehicle contracts. These will allow you to get a discount on your next purchase at the Autofixer website or at Autofixer terminals.
