Here is all you need to know about the new weapons coming in the Phantom Liberty DLC for Cyberpunk 2077
Cyberpunk 2077, a game set in a dystopian cyberpunk universe, takes you on a journey to take control of your own mind from being overwritten. The game is set in a fictional Californian city called ‘Night City,’ where you fill in the shoes of a Mercenary named ‘V.’
You get the freedom to start off your journey by choosing whether you want to live the life of a Corpo, a Nomad, or a Street Kid.
The first major DLC for Cyberpunk 2022 is named Phantom Liberty, and it promises to bring an abundance of new content to the game. In addition to a whole new set of story missions, a new ending, and a brand new map area, the DLC also brings in new and exciting weapons.
Although it takes quite a bit of time before you can actually get to the point where the new DLC takes place, you would not want to miss out on the new lineup of weapons.
All New Weapons in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty DLC
Below are all the brand-new weapons you can try in Cyberpunk 2077’s latest expansion.
Grit Pistol
From the looks of it, you can tell that the new pistol Grit is an auto pistol with an extended magazine. Also, the snub barrel attachment could make this deal deadly amounts of damage in short bursts. Additionally, it is listed as an illegal weapon, which means the only way you can get your hands on this one is probably through a black market.
Hercules
The Hercules is a Special class weapon which, judging from the burnt marks on the barrel, could be a flamethrower type of weapon. But it’s still a guess at this point, as we don’t know much about it.
Osprey
The Osprey is a sniper rifle with a huge magazine and a decent scope which seems ideal for stealth situations. It does look like a gun that can have a guided aim system and anti-cyberware modifications added to it.
Rasetsu
The Rasetsu looks like an intimidating and scary shotgun. But to our surprise, it’s exactly the opposite. The Rasetsu is a sniper rifle and also could as well be a Smart-Sniper Rifle.
Order
This odd-looking, high-tech double-barrel shotgun does not look like your typical shotgun. The Order is a new shotgun coming to the game that is marked as illegal and therefore, do not expect this to be sold at your typical gun shops.
Warden
Another gun listed as illegal is the Warden, which is a heavy-duty SMG. You can tell just by looking at it that there are a lot of attachments on it. There also appears to be a modded battery pack on it, which indicates that it could pack a punch similar to that of Arasaka Senkoh LX.
Thermal Katana
Playing with a katana in a first-person FOV is definitely a whole lot of fun in Cyberpunk. And from the trailer, we can see that there is a new kind of katana with a glowing red blade. So, definitely get ready to slice open the enemies’ armor like a hot knife through butter.
