The ‘Road to SI’ event in Rainbow Six Siege has already started, and with it came the new Stadium map that is a combination of the map Coastline and Border.
First up, near the updated Stadium’s basement spawn is a whiteboard that pays respect to the previous Six Invitational winners.
Back in the inaugural year of the Six Invitational, there were two championship tournaments – one for PC and another for Xbox. In 2017, Elevate took the Xbox Invitational hammer, and Continuum were the PC champions, explaining the two team pictures in 2017.
After the 2017 SI, the console R6 esports scene was shut down, and many console players shifted to PC. The board also contains the SI winning team of Penta, G2, and SSG in the years: 2018, 2019, and 2020 respectively.
Lord Tachanka in Stadium
Ubisoft has given Tachanka a special honor in the new Stadium map, which should satisfy all the Tachanka fans around the world. Near the west spawn of the map, there are two drone holes that lead straight to the statue of Lord Tachanka. Follow the video above to get the drone view of this mighty statue.
Macie Jay Tribute
Rainbow Six Siege content creator Macie Jay has also been included in the map to honor his work in the Siege community. Near the tracks, you can find this cool drawing of Macie Jay.
The Road to S.I. 2021 playlist will be live from 10 am ET Thursday until 10 am ET Monday, every weekend between January 21st to February 22nd. So make sure to dive into this special playlist before time runs out.
