A new map for Call of Duty: Warzone is coming with Vanguard Season 4. Here’s everything we know about the new map.
Call of Duty: Warzone started its new map journey with Verdansk 84′ and Rebirth Island. Both maps were part of BOCW’s life cycle. Verdansk 84′ is the revamped version of Verdansk. On the contrary, Rebirth Island is the first small map of the game.
Presently, Caldera is the ongoing map for Warzone. The map was part of Vanguard’s Warzone integration. However, fans are rejoicing as CoD’s official Twitter account posted a glimpse of the new map. The new map Fortune’s Keep is Raven’s big shot at shaking up the whole aura of Warzone in Vanguard season 4.

Warzone’s New Map: Fortune’s Keep
Fortune’s Keep is a small-scale map with a single island body. There are twelve POIs on the map. Furthermore, the map is compact, with each POIs only being a minute away from each other.

The new map’s teaser was posted as a puzzle in CoD’s blog post with the start of Vanguard season 3. It seems like a team of hackers have breached the island for [REDACTED], and after they have successfully claimed their objective, they await extraction at the island.
Will Fortune’s Keep replace Rebirth Island?
In addition to a small scale, the map features a resurgence style gameplay mechanics. Rebirth Stalkers speculate that the new map will replace Rebirth Island as the only resurgence map. However, the news is sad for many players as Rebirth Island has been an integral part of the whole Resurgence meta.
Fortune’s Keep and Rebirth Island Size Comparison
Finally, after the tac map reveal, Warzone guru James aka JGOD weighed in with his illustrated map comparison. Represented by the image below, we can see the new map is larger than Rebirth Island on a 500ft scale.
A more accurate scale comparison could be made after the map’s release. However, the landmarks in Fortune’s Keep seem to be twice the size of Rebirth landmarks.
Fortune’s Keep Release Date
As of writing, the map will get released with the season 4 update of Vanguard. The new season will arrive in a week, on June 22, 2022.
Die-hard CoD fans can’t wait to get their hands on the new map. And judging by the map POIs, the map will shake the current meta of Warzone.
