A Warzone streamer was caught by RICHOCHET using aimbot while live streaming on Twitch.
CoD’s battle royale title Warzone had a smooth start. However, the launch was affected by cheaters using unethical software to gain unfair advantages over their opponents on the battlefield. Consequently, Aimbotters and wallhackers became a regular part of the battle royale experience in Warzone.
Although streamers and content creators were happy with the core gameplay, the cheater plague started to get to them. Soon after, big names like Vikkstar, TimTheTatman, DrDisRespect, and NICKMERCS began to voice their concerns about the game’s future. Subsequently, on December 15th, 2021, Activision finally introduced a new and improved anti-cheat for Warzone.
The new RICHOCHET anti-cheat brought ground-breaking measures such as shadowbanning cheaters, increasing queue times, and making their damage value zero. However, players remained skeptical about the effectiveness of RICOCHET. To the surprise of many, RICOCHET slowly started to discover all the bad actors, which resulted in a massive ban wave.
Even some decent-sized content creators and streamers were caught in the crosshair of this anti-cheat system. And keeping up with that tradition, Bustbeforetrust, a Warzone streamer, was recently banned live by RICOCHET while streaming live on Twitch for allegedly using aimbots.

Streamer gets Caught by RICOCHET
In a recent tweet, Warzone content creator Ultra Royalize pointed out how a streamer named Bustbeforetrust was using aimbot on the live stream.
The streamer’s response might be a typical defense to the “alleged” accusations. But the allegations turned out to be true when Royalize posted a Twitch clip from Bustbeforetrust’s Twitch VOD.
In addition, Warzone Guru JGOD weighed in on this situation with a screenshot of the streamer’s match history and stats. The stats added additional evidence, which painted a clearer picture of his alleged cheating allegations, as his K/D ratio jumped to a massive 5+ from a meager 1.2.
Finally, the streamer got caught by RICOCHET on his live stream. The clip where it all happened shows how his guns do no damage to the opponent. RICOCHET’s invulnerable anti-cheat measure kicked in as soon as he engaged a player.
Regardless of the situation, the streamer has not responded to the fiasco yet. As of writing, there have been no additional repercussions for his actions. Even his Twitch channel is still up and has not been banned despite his alleged cheating allegations on Warzone.
