Gorr Arrives in Marvel Rivals Season 10
The new Marvel Rivals Season 10 trailer wastes little time establishing just how dangerous Gorr will be. After turning the power of All-Black the Necrosword against the would-be gods of Thebes, the God Butcher takes his campaign to Yggsgard.
Gorr believes mortals should no longer depend on gods, and his ultimate goal is to assemble the God Bomb and wipe out divine beings altogether. Naturally, that puts Marvel Rivals’ Asgardian characters directly in his path.
The cinematic shows Gorr confronting Loki and Thor, with Loki seemingly becoming one of the God Butcher’s first major victims. Loki has also been removed from normal Quick Play selection as part of the ongoing Season 10 storyline, further connecting the in-game experience to Gorr’s arrival.
Gorr Will Be a Duelist in Marvel Rivals
Gorr is set to join the roster as a Duelist, putting the Necrosword-wielding villain in Marvel Rivals’ damage-focused class. His combat revolves around All-Black, while he can also create Black Berserkers from defeated enemies and use them to attack opponents. The Necrosword also provides Gorr with additional battlefield mobility.
The combination fits the character particularly well. Gorr is built around relentlessly hunting his targets, and his abilities appear designed to let him maintain pressure rather than simply trading attacks from a distance.
