Verdansk has been a community favorite since its launch. The sole reason for its popularity is the variety of areas and terrain. Moreover, it was a massive improvement over Blackout’s Alcatraz. Furthermore, the POIs were based on famous campaign landmarks from previous CoD titles.

MWII is the upcoming direct sequel to MW(2019). With the release of MWII, players will be getting their hands on new multiplayer modes, DMZ, and most importantly, Warzone 2. The map features a vast water body connected to major POIs of the map as Infinity Ward has plans to introduce a brand new swimming mechanic. There are a total of 18 POIs on the map. However, the drawing does not represent the actual scale of the map. Recently, emadalden on Twitter recreated the map based on Tom Henderson’s leak.

Once Infinity Ward releases an official look at their map for Warzone 2, we will be able to understand the actual scale of the map. It is reportedly bigger than Verdansk and Caldera. DMZ will share some of its POIs with the Warzone map.

DMZ and Warzone 2 are in active development, and many things will change in the ultimate version. It’s important to remember that these are just leaks, and the developers have yet to confirm the information. As a result, take these leaks with a grain of salt until they make an official announcement.
