Mundo, Rammus, and most of the mages are receiving massive buffs in patch 13.22.

As Worlds patches are finally over, Riot Games is now adjusting the game primarily for the solo queue.

Patch 13.21 was one of the most impactful changes, right after the jungle changes the update prior. On that update, Riot buffed many champions, reworked K’Sante, and made champions like Zyra, Morgana, and Brand even more viable in the jungle.

Not only that but on that patch, they also nerfed many champions with high pick rates, like Caitlyn, Dr. Mundo, Rammus, Jinx, etc. But some of them received some of the hardest nerfs. Most notably Rammus and Dr. Mundo.

The lead gameplay designer, Riot Phroxzon, recently revealed all the patch 13.22 changes on Twitter. He unveiled that Dr. Mundo, Rammus, and most of the mages would receive buffs in the upcoming patch.

League of Legends Patch 13.22 All Buffs

Dr. Mundo Buffs

  • E – Blunt Force Trauma:
    • Bonus Attack Damage: 2/2.25/2.5/2.75/3 Maximum Health >>> 2/2.35/2.70/3.05/3.4 Maximum Health.

One champion who received a huge nerf was Dr. Mundo. For a quick recap, his E was bonus damage was massively nerfed. And this seemingly small nerf completely ruined his win rate. Before the patch, he had over 52.06% win rate and was one of the top 5 best top laners in the meta.

But after the nerf, his win rate went down to 48.09%. To give him some of his power back, he will going to receive some buffs.

Rammus Buffs

  • W – Defensive Ball Curl:
    • Bonus Armor: 30 (+35/45/55/65/75% total armor) >>> 40 (+35/45/55/65/75% total armor).

Similarly to Mundo, Rammus was also very strong in the prior patch. He was one of the best champions for counter-picking. However, he was still way too oppressive in ranked matches. Due to it, he got nerfed. And because of his nerfs, he can not compete. And thus, he is getting some well-deserved buffs.

The attack speed rune shard has been a staple for mages for years. But without this rune, mages overall feel weaker to lane with. But as they are not satisfying and don’t have other options, Riot will be buffing attack speed for most of the mages. But some mages, like Karthus and Cassiopeia, won’t have massive changes.
