Riot Games revealed the upcoming Breeze changes that’ll go live with the release of Episode 7 Act 2.
Breeze was added to VALORANT in patch 2.08. Chronologically, it is the 6th map in VALORANT’s map pool and the 3rd newly added one after the global release. Due to Breeze’s straightforward map layout, the map was easily welcomed by the VALORANT community.
However, Breeze also faced its fair share of criticism for being too straightforward and aim-dependent. Moreover, the players weren’t quite fond of the A Hall area, particularly because it limited both teams’ strategic plays.
Despite being a pretty well-balanced map, Breeze went through major and minor changes since its introduction. However, with the release of Episode 6 Act 1, VALORANT removed Breeze from the map pool to further optimize it.
Fortunately, as VALORANT Champions 2023‘s end coming in close, Riot Games plans to make several map changes based on statistics and meta. The first change will start with Breeze entering the VALORANT map pool in Episode 7 Act 2. And Riot Games has already revealed the changes players will discover when the new Breeze goes live.
