NFT has become mainstream in recent times as the value of the cryptocurrency has skyrocketed. As a result, NFTs, or Non Fungible Tokens, have become the hottest new investment for big-money crypto investors.
On Twitter, the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT has gotten quite a lot of traction, as most big-name content creators, influencers, and investors have made their own version of the NFT and displayed it as their new Twitter profile.
When one NFT-loving Apex Legends fan created an unofficial version of the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT for Bloodhound, Allegra Clark, the voice actress who plays Bloodhound, showcased her displeasure with the outcome.

Instead, she stated, “whoa whoa the Allfather does not favor you this day.”
Later, she even explained that she feels disgusted with the overcapitalization of the fan-favorite legend and compared this move to Hammond, an evil mega-corporation based on the lore of the Titanfall franchise video games.
This NFT hype culture has also taken the gaming industry by storm. Some big-name publishers, such as Ubisoft and Square Enix, have recently announced their version of digital goods backed up by cryptocurrency.
Game publishers are always at the forefront of inventing new ways to monetize their live-service titles. If the recent announcement from Ubisoft and other publishers is anything to go by, then expect them to arrive in Apex Legends in one form or another soon, despite massive backlash from the gaming community.
