Learn how to get the trap-disabling toolkit in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Larian Studios just released one of the most anticipated RPGs of this year, Baldur’s Gate 3, with a long storyline and a lot of side quests to complete for the players. Throughout the game, the players must visit several locations to collect many items. But in Baldur’s Gate 3, nothing comes easy, as you will encounter hordes of enemies and traps while completing these tasks.

While killing the enemies is a relatively easy task, avoiding the traps set for them might be a bit critical for the players. One wrong step into these traps might make them lose a lot of health or even cause death. However, players can permanently disable these traps using the Trap Disable Toolkit in Baldur’s Gate 3.

The Trap Disable Toolkit in BG3

The Trap Disable Toolkit is used to disable traps that are set for the players in different locations on the map. However, only one toolkit can be used to disable a single trap. So, players must be cautious about using the toolkit at locations where there are multiple traps set for them, which also makes the toolkit a handy item to acquire.

The common and easiest way to get the toolkit is by directly buying it from the merchants. There are a lot of merchants across Faerun who can be found selling the Trap Disable Toolkit. You can visit the following locations to find the merchants and buy the toolkit from them.

Moreover, the Trap Disable Toolkit can also be found in crates spread across the map. Make sure to open every crate, as you might get lucky by getting this item from some of them. And, if you get one, make sure to collect it, as the toolkit comes in handy while clearing heavily trapped locations.
