How To Find Ketheric Thorm’s Relic in BG3
To get to the Ketheric Thorm’s Relic, follow the steps below:
Find and Enter Balthazar’s Chamber
As you get to the Moonrise Tower, you will meet Ketheric Thorm there. After talking to him, he will tell you about Balthazar’s room and how to proceed with finding the Relic. Go to the tower’s third floor, and players may encounter Z’rell, an orc disciple.
Use Convince check to persuade him to give you the key to Balthazar’s room. Getting to enter this particular room before going for the Relic is essential. If the players successfully convince Z’rell, the guards will not fight against the team as the disciple trusts you.
After that, Z’rell will hand out the key to Balthazar’s room. You will see a bookshelf in the Library room and four Protruding Books as you enter. Grab the top-right one, and it will open up an Ancient ad. Once it is opened, find a Heart-like object in the middle of the room and drop it in the Alter to open a secret passage.
Get into the secret chamber and gather the valuables that might help you later, and don’t forget to collect the Moon lantern, as it will save you from the dark creatures in the night.
Head To The Mausoleum
Get to the northwest part of the Moonrise Tower, and players may encounter an Elf. Use Astarion to convince the pale Elf to get out of the way. On the way, you may meet Raphael; use Persuasion Check to get more information about the quest.
However, as you enter the Mausoleum, get into the middle room with a coffin. Be careful of the traps scattered through the rooms. Now to open up the next door of the structure, press;

It would be best to press these pictures to unlock the next door. Also, remember to tap on the Traversal Gem as you leave this room.
Enter “Gaunlet of Shar”
After leaving the previous room, you may get into the Gaunlet of Shar, where there is a significant stage in the middle and four coffins on the room’s four corners. Turn up all the metal levers, the statue’s center will glow up, and you will have a safe passage to touch the Umbral Gem.
Players may also reencounter Balthazar, and interacting with him will clear up the fact that he is also searching for the Relic. Work with him and find the 4 Umbral Gems by completing Sharren Trials.
After getting all the Umbral Gems, place them into the Alter to enter the Inner Sanctum. Hurry inside before Balthazar comes, and you will find the Relic.
Don’t be surprised to encounter the “Relic” as the Nightsong. Nightsong was trapped by Ketheric and Balthazar long before, and as you have rescued her, her fate will be in your hands; you can either kill her or save her from destruction.
This will complete the Find Ketheric Thorm’s Relic quest in BG3.
