The Marshal is a low-cost sniper rifle in VALORANT that can bring immense value in the hands of a honed sharpshooter. Here, we’ll be ranking the skins from worst to best.
This bolt-action sniper rifle comes in at 950 in-game credits. This price tag allows the Marshal to be bought straight from the second round onwards as well as on half-buy rounds. It deals 101 damage on body shots, so it is extremely effective on rounds when you know the enemy will have no armor. On top of that, this sniper is more mobile and has a higher fire rate than the Operator. It is also the only sniper to have a very accurate unscoped firing mode. This is why a popular strategy against armored opponents is first landing a scoped shot, then immediately following up with an unscoped body shot and securing the kill.
The Marshal is a lever-action sniper, reloading one bullet at a time. Players can reload one bullet at a time after every shot, which would be very efficient and increase the magazine’s capacity to the entire available reserve.
Skins in VALORANT are merely decorative and do not offer any real in-game advantages vs. the default skin. Although compared to other games like CS:GO, which only offer recolors of the same exact weapon, the devs at Riot went a bit overboard with the skins in VALORANT as they completely altered the look of the weapon, added special VFX, GFX, and one skin turns your weapon into a literal dragon!
While choosing a good Marshal skin for yourself, you should determine if you like the theme of the skins, the looks, the inspect/equip animations, the finisher, and the firing sounds. Unlike other games like CS:GO, which has individual pricing for skins, the skins in VALORANT come at a fixed price, depending on their collection. Select Edition skins cost 875vp, while Premium and Exclusive Edition skins cost 1775vp and 2175vp, respectively.
Best Marshal Skins: A Complete Tier list
Since the game’s release, Riot has released more than 23 different Marshal skins in VALORANT as a part of weapon bundles, agent contracts, and battle passes. The Marshal definitely did not get as much love as the other weapons since it has about a third of the number of skins compared to the more mainstream weapons. The majority of Marshal’s skins are included with battle passes, with only a few as a part of premium bundles. This is why our top 10 list will include bundle skins along with battle pass skins.

A-Tier (Good) | Gaia’s Vengeance, Doodle Buds |
