It looks like Arena will return at some point in the future in League of Legends.
Arena has been a success as a game mode in League of Legends. It came alongside the Soul Fighter Event and the Soul Fighter skins. There were so many interesting things about the game mode that players enjoyed.
The game mode is set to end on August 28 at 11:59 PM (PT). While it shined bright as a game mode, Arena had some hiccups along the way. Riot had to make constant balance changes and had to adjust Pass rewards to stop players from exploiting the game mode.
Regardless, there are enough positives in terms of Maps, Augments, and the like. So, players were wondering about the future of Arena. As it turns out, Riot is discussing it behind the scenes, as Riot Maxw3ll confirmed it. Here is what we know so far.

The Future of Arena in League of Legends
Riot Maxw3ll has confirmed in a Reddit post that the status Arena is being discussed at Riot.
The most positive thing about his comment is that the team is discussing Arena, but neither of the options is to scrap it. It means we will be getting Arena back at some point. Riot Maxw3ll also said that Riot Brightmoon and Riot Meddler will provide an update on Arena in the next Dev Update video.
So, all in all, these are some positive signs and ones we are happy about. Players would love to get their hands on the game mode soon with a better system and potentially custom mode. We will just have to wait for the Dev Update, which is set to come out sometime soon.
