With the launch of season 6, Respawn introduced Rampart as their new character in Apex Legends.
According to Respawn, Rampart is a quick-witted weapon modder. As a result, most of her abilities are centered around her skills as a modder. Her tactical is called “Amped cover“. Amped cover not only blocks incoming damage but also amps the outgoing bullets for some extra kick.

Rampart tactical breaks the game:
However, with the launch of this new legend player quickly noticed a weird situation where if you place two of her tactical amped cover together it apparently breaks the game.
After taking a closer look at this clip, it is clear that this problem only occurs under specific circumstances. The game immediately throws a game logic error at players when players stack more than one of her Amped cover in front of the other one. Otherwise, this issue doesn’t appear at all.
Respawn dev acknowledged the issue:
Josh Medina who is currently the producer on Apex Legends confirms that this is indeed a Rampart specific bug. And there are currently working on providing a hotfix that is supposed to fix all the new bugs that appeared with the new season.
Since Respawn already acknowledged the bug, it is only a matter of time until a fix arrives. “I think we are working on hot fixing this as we speak“, Josh Medina on this Rampart bug.
