A first real look at Rampart’s abilities:
Gameplay trailer heavily focused on the new legend Rampart. She seems to be using her portable turret gun “sheila“. According to the trailer, it seems like Sheila is a part of her abilities. Additionally, she also has a shield-like enclosure that she can place anywhere on the map. Even her teammates will be able to use the barrier along with a turret gun.
Seems like these shields will give players extra protection from gun fires, provide cover, and more importantly use that mini turret gun to decimate their opponents.
The new battle pass skins:
Respawn finally gave players a closer look at what they will be getting in the next season. This time around Respawn decided to give the G7 scout the premium battle pass treatment. When players will reach the max level in the next battle pass they are going to get a reactive G7 scout skin.
New battle pass cosmetics:
New map changes:
The trailer gave players a brief look at the new Words Edge map. The new changes include some parts of the Harvester. One section of the trailer revealed that the new part of the Harvester has been given a completely new look and it might change over the course of the battle.
Crafting is something completely new that Respawn is introducing in this new season of Apex Legends. From now on if players do not like the load out, there might be materials laying around all over the map that can be used to craft new load-outs in the game.
And the trailer also confirms that the Devotion might be returning to the normal loot pool alongside the energy magazine, and the turbocharger hop-up.
The new weapon “VOLT”:
Respawn finally gave players a real look into the volt energy-based SMG. After season 5 didn’t include any new weapon in the game, players were really eager to know more about the new weapon. From what the trailer showed, it seems like it might become a fan favorite overtaking the R99 as the new meta.
