Respawn has teased us with everything that is about to be released along with the upcoming Season, Eclipse.
Although Season 14 brought lots of new content and features to the game, most of these have been pretty mediocre to many players. As a result, the whole Apex Legends community has been waiting for something new and exciting for Season 15.
But thanks to all the leaks and teasers, it seems like the upcoming Season will be pretty impressive. Respawn has already released an official announcement on their website, giving us a small glimpse of what to expect from the next Season. And, as the previous leaks suggested, the name of Season 15 will be “Eclipse.”

Season 15 Eclipse
New Legend “Catalyst”
Although Respawn recently teased Catalyst in the latest Stories From The Outlands, not much information was revealed related to her. According to leaks from ThordanSmash, Catalyst will be the first Transgender representative in Apex Legends.
- Real Name: Tressa Smith
Here are Catalyst’s abilities
- PASSIVE: Barricade
- Reinforce doors, strengthening them and locking them to enemies’ spaces where doors have been destroyed can also be reinforced.
- TACTICAL: Piercing Spikes
- Throw out a patch of Ferrofluid which turns into spikes when enemies are near. Catalyst remains immune to enemy spikes.
- ULTIMATE: Dark Veil
- Raise a permeable wall of Ferrofluid. Enemies who walk through it will be slowed and partially blinded for a brief time.
A Stellar Map “Divided Moon”
Like other content, the Divided Moon map was also leaked a few seasons back with an indefinite ETA. However, Respawn has finally confirmed that they’ll release the new map “Divided Moon” in Season 15. As it is a completely new place, new and exciting lores will also be tied with it, revealing many secrets of the Outlands.
The last two maps, Olympus and Storm Point were great. However, those maps had drawbacks, and players were slightly disappointed. On the other hand, the Divided Moon map looks promising, and it may finally compete with the ever-popular World’s Edge in terms of ranked and casual play, loot distribution, balanced POIs, and more.
Eclipse Season Map Rotation
The following maps will be available for public matchmaking in the Battle Royale mode:
- Broken Moon
- Olympus
- World’s Edge
Battle Pass
Similar to previous Seasons, Eclipse will also have a dedicated Battle Pass for players. For Season 15 Eclipse battle pass, Respawn chose a light purple color theme. So, based on previous seasonal battle passes, expect the whole battle pass to follow this color scheme, especially for banners & trackers.
Expect to pay around 950 Apex coins to unlock the Season 15 Eclipse battle pass, which equals approximately $10 based on previous battle passes.
Gifting System
Gifting has been one of the most awaited features in Apex Legends. Although, it isn’t the exact feature players were hoping for, it is better than having nothing. With this, players can now freely gift their friends or family and surprise them.
Stickers
Stickers are a brand new cosmetic we’re introducing this season that lets players equip stickers to healing items! Whether you are regen-ing your shields or healing with a syringe you can now do it in style! All players will get the Shattered and Deathbox stickers for free when Eclipse launches. Players can also unlock 20 new Epic Stickers for a limited time from the Sticker Pack Series 001 available in the Special Stores Tab 11/1/22 – 11/22/22 only and not available in the general loot pool. Things you can apply stickers to:
- Shield cells
