An Apex legends player shared a UI concept featuring ultimate accelerant that would make it so much easier for players to use the item without going to the hassle of entering the inventory.
Back in 2019, Apex Legends was first released without any prior marketing or public beta. Respawn combined the constant action of the battle royale genre with some hero shooter elements from games like Team Fortress 2 or Overwatch into something totally different.
Like those hero shooter games, Respawn added items such as the ultimate accelerant in order to make it easier for players to quickly pop their ultimate ability. As of now, players still can’t really use this item using their healing wheel. Instead, players have to go to their inventory in order to consume the item.
Ultimate Accelerant concept:
Basically, this player created a UI concept where players will be able to use the ultimate accelerant without even going to the inventory. In clutch situations where players don’t have the time to go through their inventory, this concept looks very promising.

Furthermore, it also gives players easy access to pop an ultimate accelerant in case of an emergency. While it may seem like a pet peeve to many, a lot of time players get spammed with throwables before the Watson can even pop her ultimate accelerant. The inclusion of such a concept into the actual game would be a great quality of life improvement for the game.
