There are now 13 Heirlooms in the game, each with unique features. However, the older Heirlooms have limited functionality. As a result, Apex Legends fans hope for some tweaks to the previously released Heirlooms.
Respawn introduced some cool features like legends, respawn beacon, skins, and fast-paced gameplay with the release of Apex Legends. All the legends and weapons have some neat-looking cosmetic items, so players can have some customizability while enjoying the game.
The legendary items in the game are unique skins that are the rarest to find. However, the game also introduced Heirlooms, which are ultra-rare items even far more difficult to get than the legendary cosmetics.
Wraith Heirloom was the first Mythic-Tier item Respawn introduced with Apex Legends, followed by Bloodhound, Pathfinder, and Lifeline Heirlooms. All the players loved the concept of Heirlooms, and they would do anything like purchase countless packs to get their hands on one of them.
Until season 12 of Apex Legends, Respawn has released a total of 13 Heirlooms, with Crypto’s Heirloom being the latest one among them. Throughout the lifetime of Apex Legends, Respawn has added many new attributes to the newly released Heirlooms with many cool animations. However, the older Heirlooms did not get the same treatment as the new ones.
Apex fans want changes to the old Heirlooms
The Wraith, Bloodhound, Lifeline, and Pathfinder Heirlooms were the first Mythic items to come into Apex Legends. They have very limited usability, unlike the latest Heirlooms such as Wattson and Crypto Heirlooms, that has more robust equipe animation.
Compared to the latest Heirlooms in the game, the older ones look and feel very ordinary. The Wraith, Bloodhound, Lifeline, and Pathfinder Heirlooms only have one animation. On top of that, you don’t have the option to do other things with them. So, it seems a little disappointing for the players who own those Heirlooms.
So, Apex Players have been asking for a long time to make some adjustments to the older heirlooms so that the owners get some varieties. They want Respawn to add some more animations, inspections, or something new that would make these Heirlooms comparable to the more recent versions.
However, there is hope because, according to a comment on the Reddit post, a dev named Moy has previously mentioned that there might be some changes to the old ones when the time comes.
Nonetheless, it is still unclear when Respawn will make any adjustments to the old Heirlooms or if they will make any changes at all. It is also not sure if the players will be able to enjoy those changes for free of cost.
