Riot Games officially reveals the 2020 DAMWON Gaming World Championship skins, releasing in patch 11.9.
DWG KIA, previously known as DAMWON Gaming, was one of the favorite teams to win the Worlds Championship last year. Eventually, they did win the whole tournament, beating G2 Esports in the semi-final and Suning Gaming in the finals in a dominant fashion.
Just like the previous Worlds champions, DAMWON Gaming also had the opportunity to pick their own champions and champions’ look. Even though there was no information about the skins up until now, previously, DWG players said that they were happy with the outcome of the skins.
Now, today, during the LCK Spring Playoffs game between DWG KIA and Hanwha Life Esports, Riot Games revealed the splash art of the 2020 DAMWON Gaming World Championship skins.
What champions are getting the DWG World Championship Skins?
Based on the splash art, here are the champions who were picked by Nuguri, Canyon, ShowMaker, Ghost, and BeryL for the Worlds Championship skins in 2021:
